Effective date: 17 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is processed when you visit silentoffering.com, contact us, or subscribe to transmissions from Silent Offering.
1. Who controls your data
The controller of personal data processed through this website is the music project Silent Offering. Privacy enquiries and requests are handled through Kael at serve@silentoffering.com.
2. Data we process
Depending on how you use the website, we may process:
- Technical and security data: IP address, browser and device information, date and time of access, requested pages, referring address, server logs and information required to protect and operate the website.
- Newsletter data: email address, optional name if provided, subscription status, date and method of consent, confirmation and unsubscribe records, and technical delivery information. Depending on the newsletter configuration, this may also include information about delivery, opens or link clicks.
- Contact data: your email address and any information included in a message you send to us.
- Analytics data: information about visits and interactions collected through Google Analytics only in accordance with your consent choices.
- Consent data: your cookie and privacy preferences, stored so the website can remember and respect your choices.
3. Why we process personal data
We process personal data for the following purposes and on the following legal bases:
- to operate, secure and maintain the website — our legitimate interests in providing a secure and reliable website;
- to respond to messages and enquiries — our legitimate interests in communicating with listeners, press, venues and collaborators, or taking steps at your request before entering into an agreement;
- to send the newsletter — your consent, which you may withdraw at any time by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us;
- to measure visits and improve the website through optional analytics — your consent;
- to comply with legal duties and establish, exercise or defend legal claims — compliance with legal obligations and our legitimate interests.
4. Cookies and consent
Essential technologies are used to operate the website and remember privacy choices. Optional analytics, media or marketing technologies are used only according to the choices made in the consent banner. You can reject optional technologies or change your choices at any time through the Cookie settings control displayed on the website.
Detailed information about the technologies detected on this website, their purposes and retention periods is available in our Cookie Policy.
5. Newsletter
Newsletter subscriptions use a confirmation process. We send transmissions only after the subscription has been confirmed. Every newsletter contains an unsubscribe option. Subscriber data is kept while the subscription remains active. After an unsubscribe request, the address is removed from active mailing or retained only to the limited extent necessary to record the request, demonstrate compliance and prevent unwanted messages. Such limited records are deleted or anonymised when they are no longer reasonably necessary.
6. Analytics
With your consent, this website uses Google Analytics through Google Site Kit to understand how the website is used. Google Consent Mode is used to communicate consent choices to Google services. When analytics consent is denied, optional analytics storage is not enabled by this website. Analytics data is retained according to the applicable Google Analytics property settings and is periodically reviewed so it is not kept longer than necessary for measuring and improving the website.
7. External platforms and links
The website contains links to external services such as Spotify, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Etsy. When you follow an external link, the destination service processes data under its own privacy policy. Where embedded external content is used, it may be blocked until the relevant consent is given.
8. Service providers and recipients
Personal data may be processed by providers that support the operation of this website, including:
- OVHcloud — website and server hosting;
- Google — Site Kit and Google Analytics, when the relevant consent is given;
- our email service provider — delivery of messages and newsletter communications;
- WordPress service components and locally installed plugins — website, consent and newsletter functionality.
We do not sell personal data. Data may also be disclosed where required by law or where necessary to protect legal rights.
9. International transfers
Some external providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, the transfer must rely on an applicable legal mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards. Further information is available in the privacy documentation of the relevant provider.
10. Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected:
- server and security logs are retained for the period reasonably required to secure and troubleshoot the website;
- contact correspondence is generally retained for up to 12 months after the matter is closed, unless a longer period is needed for an agreement, legal obligation or claim;
- newsletter data is retained while the subscription is active, subject to the limited post-unsubscribe records described above;
- analytics and cookie data follow the periods stated in the Cookie Policy and applicable provider settings;
- records required for legal compliance or claims are retained for the applicable limitation period.
11. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
To exercise a right, contact serve@silentoffering.com. We may need to verify that the request concerns your data. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In Poland, this is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).
12. Automated decisions
We do not use personal data collected through this website to make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects through solely automated processing.
13. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal data. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the website, services or legal requirements change. The effective date shown at the top will be updated when material changes are made.
